A few years ago, I spent a week and a half touring California. Los Angeles is fun and a great place to see, but the highlight of my trip was being up north in the San Francisco area. I fell in love with San Francisco and my dream is to live there one day. About an hour north of San Francisco is a great small town Sebastopol. Located in California’s wine country, Sebastopol has a great small town charm to it.
In my two days in Sebastopol, when exploring the quaint town, I kept seeing the above sculptures all around. My cousin who lives in Sebastopol said that they were the work of a local artist. Patrick Amiot is the sculptor behind these creations that he makes from discarded junk. In a time when everyone is trying to do their best to be green, Patrick puts a creative spin on it.
A gallery of his sculptures can be found on his website, Patrick Amiot.
