For Throwback Thursday I wanted to share one of my favorite dahlia photographs I’ve taken. One of my favorite photography spots on Long Island is the dahlia garden at Eisenhower Park. I make numerous trips there when the dahlias are blooming since I work practically around the corner from the park. The shot above is from my first trip to the garden and when I first set up the shot, I didn’t even realize that there were water droplets on the flower it was kind of a welcome surprise I noticed when I was reviewing my photos after. It is one of those shots that whenever I try to duplicate it, nothing comes across the same was as the original.
