Old Westbury Gardens Part III

A trail walk isn’t the same after a visit to Old Westbury Gardens. At Old Westbury Gardens there are trails and paths lined with trees on all sides, even above and surrounded by such beautiful flowers at every turn that one gets a little spoiled. The Ghost Walk is a circular path that surrounds a garden — which unfortunately on my trip wasn’t in bloom, it was being worked on when I was there. The Primrose Path I could walk that all day. Gorgeous flowers in full bloom on either side and it leads to what use to be a playhouse back when the Phipps family lived on the land known as the Thatched Cottage. So much beautiful nature to see at every step in Old Westbury Gardens.

I’m saving my favorite part of my Old Westbury Gardens tour for last, the Walled Garden. Part one of my tour can be found here and part two can be found here. More photos from can be found on my Flickr.
