I recently left my job of 8 years as editorial designer for community newspapers to work as a graphic designer for a nonprofit organization. In the short time that I have been there, I really like my new job, what I get to do and the organization as a whole. My job happens to be right across the street from the Nassau County Museum of Art. The grounds of the museum are incredibly beautiful, there are more than 30 sculptures scattered around the 145 acre property, nature trails and gardens. Since there were a few warmer fall days this past week I spent my lunch break walking around the grounds. Luckily for me there were still some flowers in bloom and leaves at all different variations of their color changes.
