Judging by how many memory cards I fill up with photos of them, I think it is safe to say that my muse is flowers. I love all flowers, but if I had to pick one variety to only ever photograph, it would be dahlias. I can visit countless gardens, but as long as the Mid Island Dahlia Society keeps planting dahlias at Eisenhower Park, the hidden dahlia garden behind the park administration offices will always be my favorite photography spot. It is where I go to try out a new lens, ideas for photos and where my only other company is usually a rabbit or two that lives in the park.
With the theme for this week’s photo challenge being muse, I’m showcasing my photographic muse, that I love shooting at all stages, from when the dahlia first buds to the gorgeous flower it becomes.
