Crocuses in bloom

I have to admit that two years ago I had no idea what the crocus flower was. Since they need enough sunlight to bloom in the early spring and are small and low to the ground, they are easy to miss. Now that I know of the flower, I love it and as soon as the winter weather starts to get warmer, I grab the camera and go crocus hunting. I’ve been paying many visits to Clark Botanic Gardens in the hopes of spotting some crocuses blooming and after countless trips I finally spotted some last week thanks to a beautiful sunny day.
