I may not celebrate Easter, but there is one Easter tradition I love, The Washington Post’s Peeps Diorama Contest. Unfortunately, last year which was the tenth anniversary of the contest, was also the last where participants were asked to create a scene from current events, history and pop culture with one catch, all the characters in the scene needed to be played by Peeps. Due to a decline in entries, The Washington Post chose to end the diorama contest which has started up at other newspapers and organizations around the country.
Even though my favorite Easter tradition has ended, here are some of the dioramas I loved from last year’s content. Photos from all of the 2016 finalists can be found here.
