Cherry Blossom Season

It’s a shame that cherry blossom season does not last long, because the trees are so pretty when they are in bloom. There are two gardens near my job that have an abundance of cherry trees so for the past month I’ve been making visits to see if any flowers had started to bloom. Basically overnight the other day, the cherry trees at Clark Botanic Gardens went from barely any buds to almost at full bloom. The weather was absolutely perfect this past week to spend way too much time taking pictures of the cherry blossoms!

Lovely shots. I imagine the breeder who could make repeat-flowering cherry trees would be on to something.
