Simply Sunflowers

What better way to end summer and kick off autumn than with a bunch of sunflowers? I love sunflowers, they are my top favorite flower and I can never get enough of them. One of the gardens I frequent, Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson, NY, always has a bunch of sunflowers growing from late summer to the beginning of autumn. When I couldn’t get out to the East End of Long Island in time to photograph the flowers, I made do with my best fall back option. And the sunflowers at Clark did not disappoint this year with the varieties that were on display. If only sunflowers could last all year!
