I may have moved into the marketing world for my job, but I’ll never stop being a graphic designer who is obsessed with typography. When I discovered Popkern Press thanks to Real Simple magazine, I instantly fell in love with what they do, take movie and font names and mash them together.
The company has 11 designs which can be purchased on posters, t-shirts and framed prints. My personal favorite is When Helvetica Met Sally, not only because helvetica is one of my favorite fonts, but also for the kerning line on there. As someone who spent 8 years as a newspaper layout designer, kerning in my opinion makes or breaks your design.
