Sunday in Central Park

Despite living a 45 minute train ride away from Manhattan my whole life and going so many times throughout the year, I had never been to Central Park! Last Sunday, after having a fantastic brunch at Calle Ocho in the Excelsior Hotel, which is down the block from the park, my friend and I took a nice little tour through the park.

Since neither one of us is the best at following directions, there were a few things in the park we completely missed that we wanted to see, like the Shakespeare Garden, but the weather was absolutely perfect to walk around and see what we did see. I’ll just have to go back and visit again so I can try and see everything I missed!

Completely fell in love with the Bow Bridge, it is the perfect subject to photograph.

I love Kanzan cherry trees, so glad they were almost at full bloom!

Only took about 20 blocks until we finally found the tulips…

I’d love to have a picnic in central park someday on a warm, sunny day. Awesome pictures!
