I don’t know what it is, but whenever I see a cosmo flower I am drawn to photographing it. Anytime I see one, I can’t resist snapping some photos. The stems on these cosmo flowers at Eisenhower Park are so thin, it looks like it can’t even support the petals sitting on top of it….

The theme for the weekly photo challenge is future and I wanted to share this photo of a dahlia bud waiting to open. Knowing that when the dahlia fully blooms it will be a beautiful pink flower is worth the wait.

Spring dreaming
